Clients often ask me what I mean when I tell them that I photograph newborn and family "lifestyle" sessions. To me, lifestyle photography is just a way of storytelling. I love capturing people in their element, candidly, with the ones they love. I want to do more than tell people to pose and smile. I want to tell their story. I want to capture movement, emotion and life! I am thankful to this family for trusting me to photograph them intimately in their home with their new baby girl. Blake is definitely one of my favorite names that I've heard for a baby girl in a long time! Her yellow and whimsical nursery was so much fun to photograph. Their entire home, really, was a photographer's dream! And the best part is that their style/decor was entirely and wholly true to them.
